Morning Detox: Tummy Tonic

There are so many benefits to this daily morning detox tonic with apple cider vinegar, honey, tumeric and a pinch of cayenne! Weather you’re looking to naturally slim that tummy or detox from a weekend of heavy eating this simple recipe stimulates digestion, helps to boost your immune system, and can even help in improving skin from inside out!

Ingredients:

1 cup warm water
1/2 lemon , juiced (about 1 tablespoon fresh juice)
Depending on how acidic you like it: 1-2 tablespoons organic unfiltered apple cider vinegar (“mother”)
1 tablespoon pure honey
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 pinch cayenne pepper

Instructions:

Add all ingredients together in a cup or mug and stir to combine before drinking. Enjoy!

Recipe Notes
Ingredients can be adjusted to your liking. If you prefer a sweeter less acidic drink, add more honey &/or substitute maple syrup for honey.
